Cincinnati, OH - Nov 13, 2017.

 The annual Indian Film Festival of Cincinnati ended on a high note Sunday with an awards ceremony, following the closing night film SIGNATURE MOVE.  The three day festival premiered 24 shorts, and 11 feature films in 11 languages of the subcontinent ( English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Aptani, Konkani and Odiya). The films, filmmakers and actors who took home top prizes are:

-People’s Choice Best Feature Film –Pot of Gold, directed by Priyanka Tanwar

-Critic's choice- The Chronicles of Hari by Ananya Kasarvalli

-Patron's Choice  Most Impressionable Feature Film –  Half Ticket By Samit Kakad

-Best Director – Ananya Kasarvalli (The Chronicles of Hari)

-Best Director Drama – Jennifer Reed (Signature Move)

-Best Director Narrative – Padma Kumar Narasimhamurthy, (Billion Color Story)

-Jury Award Best Director - Shankey Cinevasan (The last Smile)

-Best Actor (Youth) Dhruva Narismhamurthy (Billion Color Story)
